Who doesn't like brownies. These are delicious, yet, easy to make with simple ingredients we usually have lying around in our kitchen.
Double Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients (9 servings):- 3/4 cup dark chocolate (55%-70%), for melting
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp instant espresso powder
- 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup flour
Direction:
Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
Prep an 8x8 baking pan by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
Melt dark chocolate and butter in a bowl. Video uses a double boiler, but a sauce pan over medium-heat stove should be good enough. Add espresso powder and mix thoroughly. Add sugar and continue mixing. Add eggs one at a time while mixing. Then add vanilla extract while continuing to mix. Then mix in salt, cocoa powder and flour to finish. Mix well to make a batter.
Pour batter in baking pan. Bake in oven for 30-40 min until toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Remove from oven, let cool and serve.
