- 2 oz rye whiskey
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes bitters
- Maraschino cherry
Ingredients are easy to remember, especially if you're from New York with 212 area code (get it? 2 oz / 1 oz / 2 dashes). Put all ingredients in a chilled mixing glass with ice. Stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Or for something different, use lemon wedge instead of cherry.
