Reeses Chocolate Brownies

Dark Chocolate Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

  • 7 oz dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 Reese's peanut butter cups
  • 1 30z bar of white chocolate (chopped up)

Preheat oven to 325 deg F.

In a double broiler (i.e. Farberware Classic 2 Qt Double Boiler), melt the chocolate and butter together. Add sugar and mix well until fully blended. Remove from heat. Add flour and continue to mix. Add eggs and mix until thick and smooth. Pour in a baking dish.

Slice 4 of the Reeses cups into chunks and lay them on top. Crush the last Reeses cup into finer quality and sprinkle throughout.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until top is flaky. Let cool to room temperature.

Partially melt white chocolate in microwave and drizzle on top. Let topping cool and set before serving.
